Artemis Fowl: Butler

I've recently been reading the Artemis Fowl books. I'm about to start the Atlantis Complex.
found out that Eoin Colfer is coming to Utah so i wanted to draw him a gift for writing amazing books that used so much of my precious earth time. (Next will be a gift to Notch.)

I was going to draw Artemis and Butler... just being Artemis and Butler... But I'm was having a hard time drawing boring things so I thought I could draw something I've always wanted to draw.

Characters acting out of character.

He could be fighting off invisible ninjas in a fancy martial arts ways, for fancy martial arts doesn't seem like a very Butler thing to do.

Or he could be break dancing.

Edit 7-16-12 : I met Colfer.
Today, My sister, ~Khieki, my friend, ~Anne-muse and I were just walking up to the Provo Library to see his little show thingy when Eion Colfer stepped out a car in front of us. He stopped and looked at us and started talking to us about Valcanoes, or something, (I didn't hear cause I was too busy thinking 'IS THAT EION COLFER? CRAP I'M IN THE PRESENCE OF A FAMOUS PERSON, DON'T ACT STUPID DON'T ACT STUPID' )

And not hearing what he was saying I just asked "Are you Eion Colfer?" 8D (note: I pronounced Eion "EE-ON" )

He replied kindly "Actually I'm Eion Colfer." (note: He pronounced Eion "OWEN"(And he was very nice about it))

In which I replied "Gaaaah sorry I'm American and I can't help it" DX (note: I only just learned that he was Irish 15 minutes earlier, and I don't know anything about pronunciations in other countries. (E makes an EE sound, where the heck does the W come from? And don't get me started on Sean.(Actually weird pronunciations are cool, but not in elementary school when you ask your teacher about the word 'Phantom' and she tells you to sound it out. "Puh-Han-Tom?"(Woah getting off track here.))))

So I gave him the picture of the break dancing Butler, which he liked, and we went inside to wait for the show to start.

His show was fun, he's a funny guy. At the end my sister and I got a book signed by him. He pronounced my name right (OTL) but pronounced my sister's name wrong. lol.


We ended the day by making ~Anne-muse buy us dinner at gunpoint. (Actually she offered.)
