I've been been working on realism for a few weeks now, for various reasons. Mainly for the seer fact that If I want a drawing career, I need to know how to draw anatomy. Though after one day of practising of self teaching, I relized how fun it was. Funny story about this, I always told myself that I didn't know how to draw realism, bust last year when he were instructed to draw a self portrait of our selfs, I ended up being the best. Beign even better then my realism drawing friend! O_o this was like my first time really tryign realism... wow... I must be talented or something. Now that i'm drawing these, I haven't had any real training on drawing them, and i'm pretty good! Ok, enough boasting. Anyway, I plan on doing mroe realism. Now what I hope if that my fans don't stor watching me because I am not drawing anime. There was a time when I hated realism, even looking at it, so I know how it feels. But this stuff really intrests me, and at the moment, Anime... fails to intrest me. But this doesn't mean I won't ever draw anime anymore or anything! I'm sure you'll still see some. Hey, You might even see BETTER anime! Good knowlege of Realism make your anime even better. Remeber this, folks! If you wants good stylized art, it's important to know your realism.
Anyway, that's all for that, for the pictures above: You'll be seeng a few of these in color soon. So far, the very bottom (the picture of the guy flying/falling) is the only one I used teaching and refrence from this wonderful book. (Drawing People. How to Portay the clothes figure)
